  • I lost 47 lbs when I was 69. I tell people that I am not on a diet. I do not count calories. I merely eat foods that are digestible by humans. I cheat occasionally and suffer the consequences. That helps me to keep my digestive system normalized and reminds me why I eat a normal human diet and keeps me from the urge to binge. However, as the years have gone by, I find that my cheats don't hurt like they used to even though I am not quite normal until those foods finally are kicked out of my body. Yuck! I don't have to exercise like I used to do while I kept on gaining weight, but, I am active. I have muscles because of my country style life. I am 73 years old and loving life. She is so correct! I now weigh what I weighed when I was a teen and wear the size clothes I wore then. I am tall and angular and look skinny. People are amazed when I tell them how much I weigh or what size I wear. I still weigh more than some of my friends and wear a size that is larger than theirs. I feel great and would not trade the loose skin I now have for all the
    junk food in the world which would fill me out but make me feel as if I were on the verge of a heart attack.

  • I went from size 16-18 to 6-8 by cutting all grains and all sugars out of my diet. I went from 100% total body pain in 2016 to zero pain in 2017. Iʻm now 63 and got my flexibility back, stopped the oncoming type 2 diabetes, my legs and feet donʻt hurt when I stand up anymore, skin tags went away, vision improved, plus probably a thousand other small benefits that I now take for granted. Before starting keto I felt so exhausted all the time, there was no way I could "exercise." It was too much effort and would wipe me out so fast. Starting the keto diet doesnʻt require exercise. Now I have strength, endurance, I can exercise if I want to, I feel great. Keto diet for me, for life, from now on!!!

  • I am 61 and have lost 8 stone in the last year. I am doing the same thing as I did when I was 40yo eat sensibly two snacks a day water sleep well and I walk 30 minutes a day.   • I’m 58 and began taking walks during the week with my neighbor. I’m trying to lose weight.. started at 168 and I’m at 153 this morning yay.. 20 to go. Anyway.. I was telling her I try to do little things all day to get in my steps.. she laughed and said.. I wondered why you’d take one little box or bag to the dumpster a few times a day. I said: that’s around 500 steps. Lol. Cutting calories and lots of little movement throughout the day.. plus a 30 minute morning walk 5 times a week. It’s working!
